2009 Estate Chardonnay

Our concentration on Estate Chardonnay is bearing delicious fruit. We are successfully adding new layers and complexity to our Estate bottling without resorting to more oak and ML. For us, malo-lactic fermentation is simply an acid balancing tool – not a stylistic component, and we feel very strongly about keeping the oak beautifully integrated in the wine.

Wine Enthusiast Magazine awarded this vintage 92 points.  They also awarded the 2008 vintage 90 points.The 2006 vintage was awarded 91 points each by Wine & Spirits and Wine Enthusiast.  The 2005 vintage received 93 points from Wine and Spirits and 90 points from Wine Enthusiast.
