Stargazing Cuvee is vintage 2014, disgorged in October 2022. Amazingly, with the addition of Stargazing, we now produce 20 distinctive cuvees. Clearly we don’t think you can have too many. Our label designer Mark Berry outdid himself. The image is one of the first batch released By NASA, showing the “cosmic cliffs” of the Carina Nebula. The wine itself gives new meaning to drinking the stars. This beautiful gift set comes with a branded stopper for those times you just can’t finish a whole bottle! Ground shipping included.
TASTING NOTES
By nose: Meyer lemon and Filbert nut. By mouth: Ripe red apple, rich and creamy with a touch
of lemon zest.
VINEYARD NOTES
Location. Location. Location. Our proximity to the ocean in cool, foggy Green Valley yields a very distinctive style of Chardonnay, especially for Sparkling.
WINEMAKER NOTES
The most salient characteristic of this wine, from a wine-making standpoint, is the 13 plus years en tirage. The composition of the dosage, or finishing element, is 10 ml Special LEX and 10 ml Brut LEX. The goal of this bubbly is to spark joy.
Lighter than air, puffed up high and golden brown, it’s center still soft and molten, this is a swoon worthy dish to pair with Joy!
