By nose, ripe red apple, grilled white peach, cinnamon, graham cracker. In the mouth; pear, dry cider, tart peach with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. A food friendly wine that works with most fall fare. Pairs well with butternut squash soup, pork chops with apples, and classic roast chicken. Also try harvest season frittata, rich with oven roasted veggies and goat cheese or roasted celery root with cumin and parsley.
The dosage for the 2016 Harvest Moon is 8 mls cold soaked Blanc de Blancs LEX and 4 mls 2014 Estate Pinot Noir.
