The longer the wine is aged on the yeast in the bottle, or en tirage, the tinier the bubbles, making the wine richer, creamier, more refined, and elegant. This vintage is aged nine years en tirage, resulting in pinpoint, diffused bubbles, so it just seems to effervesce away in your mouth. Tête de Cuvée, top of the line quality, this vintage is currently available exclusively in magnum.
TASTING NOTES
By nose, brioche, toasted almond, dried nectarines and a touch of orange zest. Creamy mouth feel with baked apple to start. Clean and balanced texture throughout ending with bright citrus notes.

The dosage for this wine is 12 mls Blanc de Blancs LEX, 12 mls 2019 Rued Clone Chardonnay and 8ml 1987 Blanc de blancs.
