2006 Rosato di SangioveseAn exciting, vibrant rosé made from Sangiovese bled off the fermentation tanks. It has an intense strawberry bouquet, followed by rich, full-bodied, fruity, dry, fresh flavors. This is wine you will want to drink by the case. Food Pairing
It is great as an aperitif or with an antipasto salad - thinly sliced salami, asiago cheese and marinated artichoke hearts, served with grilled bread or crisp lettuce, with a steak sandwich. A big bowl of Gamberoni - spaghetti with shrimp, fennel, olives, sun dried tomatoe and red pepper. Accolades
Wine Enthusiast magazine awarded the current vintage 89 points and "Best Buy." The current vintage has been recommended in Gourmet Magazine, Wine Spectator, and The San Diego Tribune.
