2002 Brut LD

LD Stands for Late Disgorged, meaning aged longer, which makes the wine richer and creamier. Made only in exceptional vintages, the blend is composed of our favorite lots of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from that year. We use all cuvée or free run juice. Stylistically, this bubbly has an exciting, underlying hint of youthfulness that belies the wine’s age. This is Iron Horse's "tête de cuvée", our top of the line.

The Wine Advocate's Robert Parker awarded this vintage 93 points.  This vintage was named the sole American Sparkling wine in Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Wines of the Year with a 96 point rating and described as "deliriously delicious." It was also awarded 90 points by Wine & Spirits.
