This bottling of the 2011 Russian River Pinot Noir is exclusively for our wine club members, visitors to our tasting room, and online. The clone, Pomard 5, is the source of the wine's deep color, complexity and savory qualities.
By nose: Stewed plum, dark raspberry and toasted Oak. By mouth: Stewed plum, cola, nut and dark cherry with a lingering finish.
Food Pairing Notes
Always the perfect Thanksgiving wine but also versatile enough to work sublimely with a range of dishes from bouillabaisse to coq au vin, wood fired pizza with wild mushrooms and fontina or slow roasted leg of lamb.
