Tours & Tastings
Come taste with us
Iron Horse is an enchanting, family-owned, working winery offering a genuine experience of wine country. The winery resides in a cluster of rustic, redwood barn-style buildings at the end of a meandering, one-lane road; on a hill overlooking undulating hills of grape vines, all the way across Sonoma to Mt. St. Helena. The Tasting Room is outdoors offering a stunning view. Against this backdrop, taste Sparkling Wines that have been served at the White House for over 30 years and five Presidential Administrations. The Chardonnays radiate elegance. Pinot Noir is the winery’s rising star. The tasting room team is especially warm and welcoming. Their enthusiasm for the family business is infectious. You can try incredible wines like:
- the earthy, velvety Estate Pinot Noir
- the lime-y, fresh UnOaked Chardonnay
- the surprisingly dry Brut Rosé that would make an excellent summer hostess gift.
The Tasting Room is open seven days a week from 10am to 4:30pm. Tastings are $25 for a flight of five wines, refunded with purchase, no charge for wine club members, with a choice of three flights.
Tours are by appointment Monday through Friday at 10am. Tours are $30 per person (including tasting).
Winemaker David Munksgard offers a truck tour through the vineyards and private tasting on Mondays at 10am. This is a truly memorable experience. Limit four people. $50 per person.
